Lava Hot Chicken

First time in here and ordered the slider( slaw on the side) and tender combo with fries and a drink. The portion size for the price is amazing and two people could probably eat off of one combo. The special dipping sauce is definitely better than canes sauce and pairs well with the chicken which was nice and juicy and seasoned crinkle cut fries. I ordered the medium spice and it does have some kick so if you prefer less spice order the spice x option. It's a small hidden place with a nice decorative inside with the walls painted to match the restaurant theme. Service was nice and friendly as well. I will definitely be back!

This concept is so badass, the food is amazing, the owner is super cool!! The price is right for this juicy, tasty chicken and I crave it every week now. I ordered from door dash for the first time and got some loaded fries. They didn't disappoint the second time. Even though I live kinda far, food was still tasty and fresh!

I have always been skeptical of these pop up hot chicken joints, but let me tell you this was amazing!

I ordered the #3 combo of a slider and tender with fries, and an order of elotes. The chicken patties used are top tier- full juicy filets, no hard edges or flattened out stringy pieces. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection as I chose "hot" and it was not too much. The pickles were great and the coleslaw on the sandwich. The fries are the biggest crinkle cut and perfectly cooked. The Elotes were also amazing with the spicy mayo.

It was very good and I'll be going back! 5/5
